Tricera Roofing is built on more than a decade of experience, steady growth, and a shared commitment to quality commercial and residential roofing. Our story began with two established companies. Keystone Commercial Roofing opened its doors in 2011, laying one of the earliest foundations for what would eventually become Tricera Roofing. In 2014, Great Lakes Commercial Roofing was founded, adding a second base of commercial roofing expertise that would later become part of the Tricera story.
In 2020, Great Lakes Commercial Roofing owner Kenneth Byler acquired Keystone Commercial Roofing, bringing both companies under shared ownership and opening the door to new growth. Two years later, both companies expanded their operations into Iowa, extending their reach beyond Pennsylvania to serve commercial property owners in new markets.
In 2026, after years of growth under shared leadership, Keystone Commercial Roofing and Great Lakes Commercial Roofing united through a merger and rebrand to become Tricera Roofing. Today, we move forward with one name, one standard of quality, and one vision for the future, backed by the experience and history that brought us here.

Kenneth started Tricera Roofing in 2011, after working for an uncle in the commercial roofing industry. Even at a young age he had the desire to build something great and enable people to become the best version of themselves. With that focus in mind, he has built a team of great people who are responsible for the growth Tricera Roofing has seen over the past 10 years. He believes we are only gettiong started and the best is yet to come! When he is not working on the company he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children on a small ranch in rural Iowa.

With over 26 years in the roofing and construction industry, he brings deep expertise in cost analysis, material evaluation, and bid strategy across a wide range of roofing systems. Known for his attention to detail and commitment to client satisfaction, Daniel excels at collaborating with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure every proposal aligns with both budgetary goals and performance standards.

With over 28 years of experience in the construction industry, Carolyn brings exceptional organization, leadership, and people-first values to Tricera Roofing. As Office Manager and HR lead, she oversees daily operations, employee relations, and company culture – ensuring every project runs smoothly and every team member feels supported. Carolyn’s passion for giving back to her community is at the heart of her work. Whether coordinating company outreach or fostering a positive and professional workplace, she believes in building not only strong structures, but strong relationships.

While new to the roofing business, Kim brings years of financial and bookkeeping experience to the team. She keeps the books organized, vendors paid, receivables collected and oversees payroll, reporting, taxes and retirement funds.
